Special Beer Release

Doppelgaenger™ [dop-uhl-gang-er] is a limited release special beer, brewed in the doppelbock style. Doppelbock is an extra-strength winter bock, first brewed by Catholic monks in Germany. Blacksburg Brewing Company’s Doppelgaenger™ is dark, exceptionally malty, and extra smooth. This full-bodied lager is 6.7% abv. The limited supply of Doppelgaenger™ (fewer than 1300L were brewed) will be available draft-only at a few BBC retail outlets beginning 01.12.2010. Participating retailers will be announced via the BBC Facebook Fan page.
