A new organization has been launched and it really needs your help. We got a lot done at the new facility in Roanoke before I left for Germany, but there's still a long way to go. I've posted some pictures here and will add more in June once work resumes.

BBC to Reopen in 2008

I am pleased to announce that through a partnership with Roanoke Railhouse Brewing Co, I will be brewing BBC beer once again on its original equipment at the Roanoke facility. I plan to brew one flagship lager and one rotating seasonal beer under the BBC name. I anticipate test brews to begin mid-June 2008.

Chophouse Agrees to Name Change

Blacksburg Brewery and Chophouse (not us) has agreed to choose a new name for their brewpub project.

John Bryce to Attend VLB

I have enrolled in the 2008 Certified Brewmaster Course at Versuchs- und Lehranstalt fur Brauerei in Berlin (VLB).

Chophouse is not BBC

You may have read a recent Roanoke Times article profiling plans for a start-up brewpub in Blacksburg called Blacksburg Brewery and Chophouse. I have received many calls and emails congratulating me on what many believe to be my new plans, however this is not the case. The company in the article, although similarly named, is NOT BBC and I have zero involvement with it. Furthermore, Fairmont Properties has linked to this website by mistake. We are NOT their future tenant.
